The safety of our community and its residents is the most important priority of your town government.  The Town of Hanover is committed to ensuring your safety by:

• keeping our roads clear and well-maintained
• providing fire protection and emergency services by contacting with 6 individual Volunteer Fire Companies
• contracting with the Chautauqua County Sheriff for enhanced police services
• funding a Disaster Coordinator and staff in the event of a flood event or other local disaster
• maintaining a clean water supply to our water districts which also provides hydrants with proper water pressures and flows for fire protection
• maintaining a wastewater system for our wastewater district
