The safety of our community and its residents is the most important priority of your town government. The Town of Hanover is committed to ensuring your safety by:
- keeping our roads clear and well-maintained
- providing fire protection and emergency services by contacting with 6 individual Volunteer Fire Companies
- contracting with the Chautauqua County Sheriff for enhanced police services
- funding a Disaster Coordinator and staff in the event of a flood event or other local disaster
- maintaining a clean water supply to our water districts which also provides hydrants with proper water pressures and flows for fire protection
- maintaining a wastewater system for our wastewater district
